​TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SALE OF TICKETS

  1. The right of admission is reserved by the Savoyards Musical Comedy Society Inc. Management Committee.

  2. The right is reserved to vary, substitute or withdraw advertised program, artist, venue and seating arrangements as necessary.

  3. Tickets are only valid when purchased through an authorised agent. Entry may be refused if tickets are invalid, damaged or defaced in any way. In the event that a duplicate copy of a ticket appears, Savoyard Musical Comedy Society Inc. reserve the right to request proof of identity and proof of purchase. Unauthorised duplicate ticket holders will be refused entry to the venue.

  4. Tickets must not be resold or offered for resale at a price higher than the price printed on the ticket.  If a ticket is sold or used in contravention of this condition, the ticket may be seized or cancelled without refund or exchange and the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission.

  5. If Savoyards Musical Comedy Society Inc. reasonably forms the view that a ticket has been purchased with a stolen card, or has been sold in violation of clauses 3 and 4, or has been otherwise purchased or acquired fraudulently, then Savoyards Musical Comedy Society Inc. may cancel the ticket without refund.

  6. Tickets can only be exchanged or refunded in the event it is decided by Savoyards Musical Comedy Society Inc. to cancel or reschedule a performance. If a performance is rescheduled, a refund is only available if the ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled performance. 

  7. Audio and video recording devices may not be used in the theatre during a performance.

  8. Mobile telephones, pagers and other potential sources of noise or nuisance must be turned off before entry into the theatre.

  9. The right is reserved to refuse admission to a ticket holder who arrives late to the venue. The ticket holder may not be allocated to their designated seat or area until there is a convenient break in the programme, if any, or at interval.

  10. Patrons who disrupt a performance, who are in use or possession of a prohibited object, or fail to produce concession ID as appropriate may be asked to leave the venue without refund of ticket purchase.

  11. Patrons will adhere to all and any house rules.

  12. Ticket holders enter the venue at their own risk.

Savoyards respects the Guidelines suggested by the Australian Direct Marketing Association, in it's Code of Practice for Consumer Protection in ecommerce.We also abide by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Platform for Privacy Preferences Project (P3P). This policy is emerging as an industry standard providing a simple, automated way for users to gain more control over the use of personal information on web sites they visit.In line with those guidelines, Savoyards would like you to be aware of the information we collect to provide your service. We do not provide third parties with access to your personal data, with the exception of third party business partners providing marketing support  such as the mailing list provider.Contact information collected by Savoyards may include:

•telephone number

•email addresses

•mailing address

•Information about what services you have ordered from Savoyards

•Information about what services you have enquired

•Your interest in receiving Savoyards email newsletters

•Correspondence between you and Savoyards

•A customer relationship management system in which details of conversations might be written by employees

•Your accesses to our websites 

What Savoyards does with your information

We do not give your personal information available to third parties, with the exception of third party business partners providing marketing support  such as the mailing list provider.

We do provide aggregate data to third parties.

We will contact relevant people to communicate billing and technical issues.

We store website data and email queued on our servers, only for use as back-up data should it be required.

We may customise our email newsletters and communications to reflect your interest in a particular service.

We access historic correspondence and details about earlier conversions in response to customer service issues and, to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Savoyards.

We monitor and store your online requests for webpage’s and services for research and to keep a history of your transactions with the business

Email communications

As a customer of Savoyards you will receive occasional email communications from Savoyards that relate to the services we provide to you, and you will have the option to opt-out of all non-essential email and postal mail.
